Heading into the summer between a student’s junior and senior years, we increase messaging around campus visits. Specifically, we mail this over-sized brochure showcasing Lipscomb’s hometown of Nashville.
Working in university enrollment during Nashville’s boom has given me an even deeper appreciation for the opportunities of the city. While our primary message is always about being the #1 job market in the country (and the internships that affords), we pair visit messaging with the social, culinary, and entertainment scene in Music City.



To that end, it was important to me to include the student voice—the final spread of this mailer includes the perspective of 4 student ambassadors, sharing what Nashville means to them (as well as where they’d recommend getting a bite to eat during their visit).
This mailer has appeared in different iterations since 2018, but I designed this most recent refresh to emphasize the idea of Nashville as opportunity. Each fold doubles the size of the brochure so that the user experience is discovering more and more and more, overwhelmed with things to do while they’re in town.
In 2023, this mailer was sent to 27,000 prospectives.
