The senior viewbook is focused on Lipscomb’s academic profile and the scholarly opportunities its students have. It is mailed to students in September of their senior year.
As a liberal arts institution, our goal was to highlight the programs Lipscomb’s best known for while also showing the breadth of options students can choose to study. It profiles 5+ students and young alumni to showcase Lipscomb’s top programs: engineering, business, education, health sciences, and the arts.
Through focus groups and surveys, we found that our audience responds well to long-form storytelling. We wanted to deliver something substantial at this moment of the students’ journey to their college decision.
Different iterations of the senior viewbook have been a part of the direct mail schedule since 2018—this most recent version was a design overhaul, emphasizing larger photos, more whitespace, and higher skim-ability. In 2023, Lipscomb mailed a copy to nearly 30,000 prospective students.
